If there was any way to start off the new year 2024 with some controversy, comedian Katt Williams sure understood the assignment and did just that.

Shannon Sharpe was just expecting to have a normal conversation about comedy and other things, but I don’t think that he expected this much tea.

Now every comedian in the entire industry is trying to come onto the Club Shay Shay podcast to tell their stories and to expose other celebrities in the industry.

“Club Shay Shay” has been a podcast that I have enjoyed watching since it came out in 2018, but the podcast has never received this much attention since comedian Williams decided to make an appearance and nearly destroy half of Hollywood.

Williams kicked off 2024 with a bang back in January when he put on blast major Hollywood comedians and entertainers in Hollywood like Steve Harvey, Rickey Smiley and Kevin Hart.

Sharpe wasn’t expecting these controversial comments to be dropped on his podcast; he just sat there looking shocked and speechless throughout most of the interview.

Williams’ main reason for coming on the show was to respond to comedians who recently appeared on the “Club Shay Shay” podcast, such as Cedric the Entertainer and Harvey.

Most of the things that Williams was saying about the entertainment industry could be true.

Most of these stories have been circulating on the internet and in the entertainment industry for years, but most were just thought of as rumors.

He had proof for everything he said and had some celebrities, such as Kevin Hart, respond online, but Hart denied any of Williams’ claims.

Although some responses criticized Williams’s interview, none denied the claims that were made.

Just hours after the interview was released on YouTube, there were already 2 million views.

There are 61 million views on the “Club Shay Shay” YouTube page.

Since the interview, Sharpe has been out here living his best life all around Hollywood and getting comedians and other celebrities to tell their life stories on the podcast.

After the interview with Williams, comedian and actress Mo’Nique decided to come on the podcast and co-sign everything that Williams said during his interview.

Mo’Nique spoke about how Tyler Perry and Oprah Winfrey got her blackballed from Hollywood after they lied and said she was challenging to work with.

Everyone feels comfortable coming on the “Club Shay Shay” podcast and can tell their side of the story after Williams set the bar.

Some celebrities did not like the Williams interview, calling Williams jealous and saying he was just looking for attention. 

Maybe some of them don’t like it because there is finally someone from Hollywood who is not scared to tell the truth and is exposing our favorite celebrities.

Hopefully, even bigger celebrities like Denzel Washington and Drake will come on the podcast and spill even more tea about the entertainment industry.
