The Center for Global Learning and Engagement hosted an information session for its seniors, reviewing graduation requirements and giving students a chance to check their academic progress.
Foreign language courses, study abroad opportunities and collaborative projects all make up the global learning program. It just might become more enticing for students next fall according to Associate Vice President Dr. Phillip Bailey.
“Hopefully next year, we will have what is called a Global Learning minor,” Bailey said.
According to those involved with Global Learning, being able to achieve a minor in the program would be a helpful addition to the curriculum.
The program emphasizes global literacy, educating its students on how to connect cultural bridges around the globe and hopes this opportunity will bring in more students next semester.
