5) Bigelow Lemon Ginger
Bigelow Lemon Ginger is a classic tea in sickness and in health. I always opt for this tea when I start to feel under the weather. With a touch of honey — or in my case, a lot of honey — this tea is great for soothing a sore throat. The citrus in the tea can also aid your immunity while the ginger can help improve gut health. Besides the health boost this tea can provide when you need it, this tea is an equally good option for those who are feeling well and just want a beverage with spice and zing.
4) Celestial Seasonings Sleepytime
Celestial Seasonings is a go-to before-bed treat. If you want to romanticize your bedtime routine, Celestial Seasonings Sleepytime is the tea for you. Take a nice bubble bath, throw on a face mask, hop in some cozy pajamas, put on your favorite show and relax with a warm cup of Sleepytime tea. With its soothing notes of chamomile, Sleepytime tea will have you feeling as content and cozy as the anthropomorphized bear on the package. You can even throw on a nightcap for good measure. If you want all your worries wiped away and a good night’s sleep, then Sleepytime is your tea.
3) Bigelow Perfectly Mint
Bigelow Perfectly Mint is a great tea for thawing out the winter blues. With the cool freshness it provides despite the warmth of the tea, Perfectly Mint is great for sitting in front of a stocking-topped fireplace while watching your favorite Christmas movies — preferably “Home Alone” if you’re classy. Mint also pairs great with chocolate, so if you aren’t satisfied with just one beverage, a cup of mint tea can be followed perfectly with a cup of hot chocolate. So, if you want a taste of Christmas any time of the year try Bigelow Perfectly Mint…and merry Christmas ya filthy animal.
2) Celestial Seasonings True Blueberry
Celestial Seasonings True Blueberry is a sentimental favorite of mine. As a child, when I would settle down for a book at night my mom would bring me a sippy cup filled with this tea and three ice cubes, starting my love of tea early. I recently have rediscovered how much I love this tea and the nostalgia it brings. This tea would be good cold as a refreshing summer drink, but True Blueberry is a youthful, candy-like treat I enjoy all year round. If you don’t like blueberry, all the fruit teas in the Celestial Seasonings Fruit Tea Sampler make good alternatives.
1) Tazo Organic Chai
Chai is a drink for people who like to dress weird, get odd haircuts, listen to indie rock and feel like they are unique. I am one of those people. So if you like wearing clothes that look like an elderly person donated them to Goodwill or have an unconventional piercing, this is your tea. Don’t worry, no one else likes it but you … *wink*. Through extensive teasearch, I have found Tazo Organic Chai is the best, especially with two spoons of sugar and a splash of milk. This drink is a great, spice-heavy drink for the fall months with notes of cinnamon, cardamom, ginger and black pepper.
