5. ‘As Long as You Love Me’
This song gave younger me EDM before I could even spell electronic dance music. “As Long as You Love Me” is an upbeat song that I will blast until the day I die. Justin does a masterful job of using his own vocals to mix into the song, making it flow effortlessly together. And don’t even get me started on the Big Sean feature, which lives up to the “Big” in his name and delivers on this classic track.
4. ‘Somebody to Love (ft. Usher)’
Now before you ask, no, the regular “Somebody to Love” without Usher would NOT be on this list. Even though Usher brings absolutely no new verses to the song and just copies Justin’s lyrics word-for-word, you best believe that I will only blast this version. Usher on anything is going to make a song automatically better. The maturity of his voice adds to the track and makes me feel less embarrassed about listening to 13-year-old Justin.
3. ‘No Sense’
This was one of my most listened-to songs over the summer even though it came out in 2016. If that doesn’t tell you this song is timeless, I don’t know what else will. The beat of this song is alluring, and Justin coming in with his Bugatti Biebs voice makes me want to convert to straight. Travis Scott adds nothing to this song, and I wish he was not included in it, which comes as a surprise considering their other iconic collaborations.
2. ‘Boyfriend’
Where do I even begin with this song? Honestly, if you don’t like this song, or have not even heard it, just don’t talk to me. This song changed who I was as a person at the young age of nine years old and I credit it to how I present myself as a person today. If you don’t like this track — as I said earlier — those who get it get it, and if you don’t, you need to get on the train baby.
1. ‘Never Let You Go’
This spiritual and iconic song made me cry so many times growing up just because of how beautiful the vocal performance is. If I were to have my own “Glee” moment, I would sing this song to the pretty girl in class and make that our dedicated song. I don’t care that Justin was 13 years old when he made this because I promise you that this song has more pure emotion toward women than you will find in most of today’s music.
