Miss UCA Pageant
The Miss University of Central Arkansas Scholarship Pageant will be held on Nov. 6 at 7:30 p.m. in Reynolds Performance Hall. Tickets will be sold at the door and are $5 for students and $10 for the general public. The pageant is sponsored by Alpha Sigma Alpha Sorority.
Student Conference
The third Korean-American Student Conference will hold an informational meeting on Nov. 3 during x-period in Irby Hall room 308. KASC is a summer student exchange program bringing 25 Korean and 25 American students together to travel the U.S. while discussing U.S.-Korea relations.
Daniel Tosh
Tickets are on sale for the Daniel Tosh comedy performance on Nov. 4 at 8 p.m. in Reynolds Performance Hall. Students can purchase tickets for $10 with a student ID.
Harvest Party
The Community Action Plan of Central Arkansas has placed boxes around campus for a food drive to distribute in its local food band Christmas basket. They are asking for boxes of brownie and stuffing mix, and will be accepting donations until Nov. 5.. Open Enrollment
Open enrollment will be available to all staff and faculty on Nov. 9 at 10 a.m. in Student Center Room 214 and on Nov. 13 at 10 a.m. in Student Center Room 224.
Halloween Rockfest
The Exquisite Corpse’s first Halloween Rockfest will take place Oct. 31 in the Bear’s Den at 8 p.m. The Strip Malls, The Boomers, Amsterdamned, Stoke Newington and The Conway Twitties will perform. A $5 donation is requested and costumes may be worn.
Comedy Show
The National Association of Black Men United present their comedy show “L.O.L.” tonight at 7 p.m. in Ida Waldran. The event will feature stand-up comedy by students and will offer a $100 grand prize.
Sunday Movie
SAB is showing “The Proposal” Sunday at 7 p.m. in the Student Center Ballroom. Admission is free and free drinks, popcorn, Papa John’s pizza and door prizes will be given.
