The drama “American Skin” invites the audience to glance into the social injustices of a war veteran and the fight to win his lost son back from the violence of the police system.
“American Skin” was originally released in 2019, but had only recently been released in the United States on Jan. 19, 2021.
Nate Parker worked on the film as an amazing writer, director and captivating actor in his role as Lincoln “Linc” Jefferson.
In the movie, Linc [Nate Parker] explores a grim reality facing disenfranchised African Americans, tastefully serving it with the signature dash of Spike Lee.
Throughout the entire movie, the suspense was held in the balance of the jury in a sensitive case, created by Linc [Parker] and many of his family members to reach justice.
