- The holy grail of Redbull, in my opinion. When you were a kid and took a bath with Suave shampoo, did you ever get the urge to eat the shampoo because it smelled so good? Well, with a Coconut Red Bull, it fills that intrusive craving. A burst of flavor that wakes you up, the Coconut Red Bull has become a staple for sleep-deprived college kids for years, and truly how could that ever change? The flavors are reminiscent of soft breezes and the sound of light birds chirping in the early mornings of a beach. Coconut Redbull is a controversial number one, but it is deserving of the spot.
- Cherry Sakura
- The newest flavor as of writing this, Cherry Sakura is an original from Japan originally called Cherry Blossom. The first cherry flavor from Redbull and it doesn’t disappoint. Cherry with a hint of almond, it’s a hit from everyone and has had trouble staying on the shelves. This flavor was a pleasant surprise and has been bought multiple times since its release mere weeks ago. Cherry Sakura, while a spring edition, might just worm its way into being a permanent resident in the line up. This tastes like the first few days of March, where it’s perfectly warm with a slight breeze as you drive to visit your friends in the late morning. It just tastes like a good time.
- White Peach
- Formerly the summer edition last year, White Peach was such a success it has claimed a forever home on the shelves. Flavors of peach, citrus and light floral create a perfect blend that often doesn’t seem to go into a drink well (looking at you floral). White Peach was the perfect summer drink and dominated shelves rightfully so. The taste feels like the Fourth of July when you’ve all eaten and you’re waiting for the fireworks to go off as you keep playing in the pool. White Peach is honestly nothing like anything Redbull has made and that in itself is why it’s here. The flavor was something new that was perfect for savory and sweet people.
- Watermelon
- A staple in the classic lineup of Redbull flavors, watermelon is a commonly slept on flavor. Watermelon has always tasted like it had more punch than the other flavors. This red edition tastes nothing like any other artificial watermelon on the market, creating something that is uniquely itself. For the flavors, unlike its other competitors listed, watermelon is the only flavor described on its can. It’s almost electric tasting. Lost in the void of more ‘exciting’ flavors, watermelon offers its own personal twist on a beloved classic. The best comparison is a hot August day right before you go back to school and you lounge in the pool waiting for your mom to bring you delicious watermelon.
- Curba Elderflower
- Finally, Curba Elderflower which is now leaving the shelves to make room for White Peach. The most recent downfall for the green edition, Elderflower brought something completely from left field and it worked. Combining fruit and floral, it tasted just like sour candy. It was something that worked and was a perfect replacement for the last green edition Dragonfruit. As it slowly leaves the shelves, people can’t help but miss the charged sips that lit up anyone with energy. It tasted like when you’re busy running, but see your favorite sour candy at the gas station. A must to have and brings nothing but enjoyment.
