With this rise to prominence, there have been many controversies surrounding influencers’ family members.

One recent example is that of Haley Beck – Noah and Tatum Beck’s older sister.

Beck, who was a teacher at Centennial High School, was recently accused of grooming and having a sexual relationship with one of her students. Though the student is now 18, it was reported that he was a minor when the relationship began.

Beck would provide the student with alcohol and marijuana and also allow him to drive her car and visit her apartment, according to azcentral.com.

After these accusations came to light, neither of Beck’s siblings has said anything regarding their sister as of April 12.

Noah Beck has not posted on his TikTok since March 25 or on Instagram since March 30, while Tatum Beck is still posting regularly without addressing the family drama, though she has reportedly liked comments that seem to allude to the situation that she has been put in by her sister.

According to azcentral, one of these comments said, “Keep pushing girl, you aren’t responsible for anyone but you.”

This entire ordeal has led to a rise in the call of holding influencer’s families responsible for their actions and that family members of influencers should realize that their actions have an effect on their family members.

It is also important for influencers to address things such as the Haley Beck situation, considering the information is out in the world and only amplified in conversations on social media, since they are linked to a person who resides in the public eye.

Influencers should address the issues their family members cause them and state that they do not condone the actions their family members have taken. To some people, it can leave a bad taste in their mouths about the influencers if they choose to stay silent on public issues linked to them.

However, if these social media personalities’ families would not put them in a position where they might have to make a statement or have some form of controversy surrounding themselves and their family, there would not be as much of a bad taste left in people’s mouths – though there will always be people that are displeased by influencers, and these social media personalities just need to remember that you can never make everybody happy.
