At about 11:45 p.m. Aug. 24, a UCAPD officer was sent to apartment 908 in Bear Village for a noise complaint.
Nonstudent Howard Skinner, 20, answered the door and allowed the officer to enter the living room to speak with the rest of the individuals.
The apartment belonged to students Clayton Dorman, 20, and Joshua Owen.
Skinner was spitting tobacco into a cup and the officer told him that tobacco in any form is prohibited on campus.
Five cans of tobacco were on the kitchen counter, as well as two empty bottles of wine lying on the floor.
A UALR cooler was in the room with the name “Cody Stringer,” one of the guests in the apartment, written across it.
When asked what was in the cooler, Stringer replied “Not anything good.”
There were five unopened cans of Bud Light inside the cooler.
When the officer asked for Stringer’s student ID, he provided his roommate’s instead.
UCAPD told Stringer that his roommate’s ID would be at the police department. Guests and residents were given alcohol violations.
