The following information was taken from incident reports filed by officers at UCAPD. The reports are made available by university police after they are approved by a supervisor. That process takes a few days, which delays our report. This is a complete report of incidents filed for Sept. 7-8.
Sept. 7:
- Nonstudent Skylar Wilson, 18, was issued three warning citations — an alcohol violation, minor in possession of alcohol and possession of a counterfeit identification — at about midnight after police spotted him walking with a Jagermeister bottle at the College and Western avenues parking lot. Wilson was also banned from campus. When police stopped Wilson, they noticed his eyes were bloodshot, his pupils were enlarged and that they could smell alcohol on him. Officers searched Wilson and found a Texas ID in his wallet, which he admitted was fake. Because of his cooperation and honesty, police said they released Wilson to his father.
Sept. 8:
- An 18-year-old student was taken by ambulance to Conway Regional Medical Center after police found her at 1:09 a.m. sitting on the sidewalk and taking rapid, shallow breaths outside of Baridon Hall. She was given oxygen and a breathing treatment before being taken to the hospital’s emergency room.
