Scrolling through social media, you’ll see comments complaining that nobody will understand what he is saying and why this was their only option for a Super Bowl performance.

The NFL had to know that there would be huge pushback for a performer of his ethnicity and style, yet they chose to go with it anyway, which makes us think they are doing this as a political statement or to just reach more people internationally.

Many Americans have been outraged that these actions are taking place right in their own communities, especially targeting Hispanics and Latinos.
