Sigma Tau Gamma member Ryan Huselton conquered the Reynolds Hall stage Sept. 26, taking home the Greek God title.
Greek God is a competition that is held every year, hosted by Sigma Kappa to support and raise money for its philanthropy, the Sigma Kappa Foundation.
This year, all of the proceeds went toward research for another one of Sigma Kappa’s philanthropies, the Alzheimer’s Association.
Sigma Kappa raised over $4,000 for Alzheimer’s research.
The purpose of this event is to raise money, support philanthropies and support Greek unity.
Members of UCA’s fraternities are chosen to participate and compete for the title of Greek God. Contestants compete in three rounds and can be awarded for each one as well as the title of Greek God, which is the overall award.
Contestants can also be awarded for people’s choice, where audience members can donate to the contestants of their choice to win.
This year, seven contestants were selected to compete.

Contestants are tasked with choosing a theme and competing in three rounds for the title of Greek God and a chance to win rounds like intro, talent and formal.
Contestants are joined by members of their fraternity and members of the sororities that sponsored them to perform a dance routine for intro round, a talent routine for the talent round and answer questions for the formal round.
Huselton was the winner of the talent round.
People’s choice and the formal question round were awarded to Dalton Brown of Sigma Phi Epsilon.
The intro round was awarded to Bryant Hasley of Beta Upsilon Chi.
Brown said, “It was an honor to be able to represent such a great group of women at Alpha Sigma Alpha. Getting to spend the last three weeks putting together a production with both them and my brothers will be one of my most favorite memories. I am just blessed to be able to do all of this.”
