Homecoming Pep Rally

“Bear Pride on the Prowl,” the Homecoming pep rally and food drive, is Oct. 20 at 5:30 p.m. in the Farris Center. There will be a chant competition, the spirit stick will be given and the Homecoming court will be announced. Canned foods will be collected for a food drive.

Daniel Tosh

Tickets are on sale for the Daniel Tosh comedy performance on Nov. 4 at 8 p.m. in Reynolds Performance Hall. Students can purchase tickets for $10 with a student ID.

Machinal Play

The play “Machinal” will premiere Oct. 20-23 at 7:30 p.m. in the Bridges/Larson Theater of Snow Fine Arts. Students get two tickets for free with a student ID.

Trick or Trot

The HPER Fitness Center will host the Trick or Trot Fun “Costume” Walk/Run on Oct. 28 from 6:30-10 p.m. Proceeds will benefit the Henderson-Block Scholarship Fund.

Halloween Rockfest

The Exquisite Corpse’s first annual Halloween Rockfest will take place Oct. 31 in the Bear’s Den at 8 p.m. The Strip Malls, The Boomers, Amsterdamned, Stoke Newington and The Conway Twitties will perform. A $5 donation is requested and costumes may be worn.

Greek Show

The S.P.B.C. Homecoming Greek Show will be held in Ida Waldran’s Main Hall on Oct. 23 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door. Doors open at 6 p.m. For more information, call 501-450-3135 or email [email protected].

Tag UCA

Tag UCA Sidewalk Art Competition, “100 Years of Leaving our Bear Tracks,” is Oct. 21 from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. on the sidewalks near Harrin Hall. The event is a clothing drive, so donations will be collected in the bins outside Harrin Hall.
