Hispanic Culture
The Minority Services are hosting the Annual Celebration of Culture for Hispanic Heritage month on Oct. 5 from 5 to 7 p.m. The event will be held in the East McCastlain Ballrooom. There will be two groups of Latino performers and the Baum Gallery will be opened late.
Powder-Puff Pageant
The Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority will be hosting the first annual Dude Looks Like A Lady powder-puff pageant on Oct. 6 at 6 p.m. The event will be held in Ida Waldran. Admission is $3.
Megan Mooney
SAB presents Comedy Night with Megan Mooney tonight at 7 p.m. in the Student Center Ballroom. A drawing will be held during the show for two tickets to see Daniel Tosh on Nov. 4.
Comedy Show Auditions
Auditions for the L.O.L. Comedy Show presented by The National Association of Black Men United and the Omega Psi Phi fraternity will be held Oct. 1 at 2 p.m. on the second floor of the Student Center. The show will be on Oct. 28 at 7 p.m. in Ida Waldran.
SAB Meeting
The SAB general meeting is on Oct. 1 during x-period in Student Center room 224. Door prizes are to be given out and refreshments served.
Modeling Tryouts
Phunky Fresh Modeling will be holding tryouts for new models tonight at 6 p.m. in the Doyne Health and Science Center.
Interest Meeting
Phi Beta Sigma fraternity will be holding a general interest meeting tonight at 8 p.m. in Main Hall room three.
ArtsFest 2009
Conway ArtsFest starts Oct. 7 and runs through Oct. 10 at Front Street in Simon Park. On Oct. 9 at 6 p.m. and Oct. 10 at noon, “The Happening” is looking for performers to participate in open performances for the festival.
Grad Central
The UCA Bookstore is hosting Grad Central on Oct. 13 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Grad Central has graduation items for sale for December graduates. Free food and T-shirts will be available while supplies last.
