An officer arrived at the Subway on Farris Road after hearing a loud argument from his car on Aug. 30.
He observed student Maranda Meek, 22, loudly cursing and arguing with someone in front of Subway. Another female, student Cassie Reeves, 21, was lying on the ground in the parking lot next to a truck.
The officer tried to speak with Reeves, but she was unresponsive.
When she regained consciousness, a female friend helped her stand up.
UCAPD asked her to remain there while he went to find Meek in a crowd of people.
He located her close to Bear’s Den Pizza and informed her of her Miranda rights.
Conway Police soon arrived to investigate the scene. Conway Fire and Rescue arrived shortly after to check on Reeves. Reeves declined medical treatment.
