The basement of the Student Center was briefly turned into a water-park yesterday. Sadly, this was not planned. Yesterday’s flood was the result of faulty equipment, according to a faculty worker who prefers to remain anonymous.
“It’s because all of our equipment is so old and the junk doesn’t work right,” the worker said. “You’ll have to talk to upper management for more information.”
The flood occurred when the drain that the water pumps to became clogged, causing it to malfunction. The drain was located on the first floor of the Student Center, and so the water leaked down into the basement.
