“Captain America: Brave New World” is a perfect mix of action and comedy for viewers to enjoy.
This movie is rated PG-13, released Feb. 14 and is an action, adventure, Sci-Fi movie.
The movie is directed by Julius Onah, has a run time of 118 minutes, and had a $180 million budget.
This movie stars Anthony Mackie who plays Sam Wilson, the new Captain America.
Throughout the movie, Sam and his partner, the new Falcon, Joaquin Torres (Danny Ramirez) worked together to protect and save America and to help President Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross (Harrison Ford). They do this by going on missions together; the movie starts with them on a big mission in Mexico and they continue to travel throughout the movie.
All of the acting was good, the actors had strong emotions that helped set the tone of the movie.
The storyline was interesting and followed a few main characters, including President Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross (Harrison Ford), Sam, and Samuel Sterns (Tim Blake Nelson).
The action parts of the movie were enjoyable. The fights involved more than two people most of the time. Some of the fights were sudden so the characters did not have their gear to fight with; therefore, they had to use what they could find around them.
There was something going on constantly, so it never got boring or uninteresting.
Sam throughout the movie talked about some of his own struggles of not living up to Steve Rogers’ standards as Captain America.
There was a good amount of humor and joking around throughout the whole movie, as well as some sweet, heartfelt moments towards the end of the movie that kept the movie light-hearted.
There was also a little bit of mystery and some unknown of what was going to happen next.
As a viewer, this was enjoyable because it let the audience think with the characters about who did what.
For the longest time, there were the Marvel classic characters, and there are still the same characters; just played by different characters in the movies.
This movie introduced a new Captain America, Falcon, and Hulk.
When President Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross turns into the Red Hulk.
It was cool to see the Red Hulk because growing up many viewers have always seen and associated Hulk with the original Green Hulk.
Audiences should stick around for the post-credit scene which teases the next Marvel movie.
This movie is interesting, easy to understand and follow along — even if someone isn’t familiar with the Marvel world it would still be an interesting movie — and definitely worth seeing.
