The Bears football team will take on the University of Tulsa Golden Hurricanes at 6 p.m. Saturday at Chapman Stadium in Tulsa.
The Bears have a 4-0 record going into their fifth game of the season.
The Golden Hurricanes are Division I and was last year’s offensive team of the year. They’ve also won 10 games in six consecutive seasons. The Golden Hurricanes won the GMAC Bowl in 2007 and are in the running for a bowl game this year. So far this the season they are undefeated with wins against the University of Alabama and North Texas.
Many say this game will be a new experience for the Bears because it is their first game against a well-known team in Division I.
“We see this game as an opportunity not only for the team but the university as well,”
