Comedic genius Brittany Broski, who is an internet icon with her own YouTube show, channel and podcast “The Broski Report,” has now ventured into the music industry.
The woman who seems to do it all recently has surprised fans with her very own version of “Adore Me” by singer-songwriter Harry Styles.
Broski dropped the cover March 20 on all platforms, shocking the media with her rich voice and intense vocal range.
Reaching over one million streams within days of its release, Broski’s first debut is a presumed hit.
Broski has been known to tease viewers with her incredible vocal capabilities by singing the French national anthem, pieces from the band Greta Van Fleet, excerpts from the song “Breakeven” by The Script and many more.
Even so, the cover’s release was a shock for fans. Broski is known for her openness and conversational tone with viewers, but did all she could to remain secretive about her upcoming song release.
The star went to Instagram on March 19, posting various photos relating to her recent drop and writing, “This has all been a long time coming and this is just the beginning,” in her caption. Displaying her excitement for a future of making music and getting to create and pursue things she loves.
In her release, the pop-beat by Styles became reimagined by Broski through her deep vocals and ability to make the song her own.
A huge inspiration for Broski is Styles, and when releasing more behind-the-scenes photos and videos from recording day Broski wrote again to fans using Instagram.
“With my first release I saw the perfect opportunity to pay homage to my fangirl roots by reimagining a song by an artist very very special to me. Harry Styles is so important to so many people, he’s my hero,” Broski said in a caption posted March 26.
Brittany Broski has gained such a large following over the past few years because of her realness, her humor and her ability to relate to such a large audience.
She has pursued all sorts of things, whether it was extremely difficult or scary to start, and is in touch with herself. It is a refreshing break from the usual facade we see influencers try and put on for their viewers.
Her love and passion for music has helped create momentum for her to pursue it for herself. While her “fangirl” tendencies pushed her to explore music and stars more, while also remaining incredibly relatable, she did not let that stop her.
Instead, she was able to get in touch with her own feelings, her own take on lyrics, and songs and melodies.
We see this in her first release, taking an inspiration of hers and turning it into her own beautiful piece of work, and fans hope to see and hear more from Brittany herself.
