When in need of a colorful place where you can paint pottery and enjoy frozen yogurt, head on over to Oak Street’s Conway Art Center.
Starting at around $10 to $15, Conway Art Center offers customers the opportunity to paint plates, mugs, bowls, small trinkets and more.
Conway Art Center has a variety of frozen yogurt flavors as well as toppings to add to your frozen yogurt to make it just right for you.
“The location felt right because it’s accessible, welcoming and fits the creative energy I wanted for the business,” Rachael Duvall, Conway Art Center owner, said. “Being part of the Conway Art also aligns perfectly with our mission to support creativity and community involvement.”
“We’re your local hub for creativity, community, and a little bit of sweet fun,” according to the company’s Facebook.
The business officially opened in November 2025.
“It’s been incredibly exciting to finally welcome the community into space,” Duvall said.
The community has been very supportive and welcoming of this new business.
“The response from the community has been overwhelmingly positive,” Duvall said. “We’ve felt so much support, excitement and encouragement. It’s been really motivating to see how eager people are for a creative space like this in Conway.”
Duvall combined frozen yogurt and pottery to bring people together and give the community a creative experience.
“I wanted to create a space that felt welcoming, creative and fun for all ages. Frozen yogurt naturally brings people together, and pottery painting encourages people to slow down and create something meaningful,” Duvall said. “Combining the two felt like a perfect way to offer both a treat and an experience, somewhere you can relax, be creative and make memories.”
Duvall is excited about building a place that people feel comfortable coming to.
“Seeing people create something with their hands while enjoying time together is really special to me,” Duvall said.
Duvall has enjoyed getting to see people be proud of their work and enjoy their experience at the Conway Art Center.
“My favorite moments have been watching people walk in for the first time and immediately light up,” Duvall said. “Seeing kids proudly show off their pottery, friends laughing together and families spending quality time, those moments make all the hard work worth it.”
Conway Art Center is open Tuesday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and open Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
