If you’re looking for a great workout and health-focused vibes ZenStudio is the place for you.
The idea of ZenStudio began by owner Camden Hyneman while she was in college in NYC.
“I was a nanny and my boss gifted me some classes to SoulCycle. I had never loved working out, but I truly loved these classes because they had great music, moved to the beat and had fun choreography. I actually started looking forward to working out,” Hyneman said. “This was in 2010, so there was nothing like this in Arkansas and I saw an opportunity to bring something new to Arkansas. Not only were we the first boutique cycling studio in the state, but we were also the first studio to have barre classes.”
This is when Hyneman opened the original location in Jonesboro that had success and led her to open a Little Rock location in 2012; she later opened a location in Conway.
As the owner Hyneman stays busy.
“A typical day for me includes teaching fitness classes, coming up with new content and ideas for the business and continually furthering my education in the latest trends in fitness while running the business and being an on the go mom to two young babies,” Hyneman said. “We are family owned and operated so everything you see is done by my wife and I. The marketing, social media, client support, retail, scheduling, etc.”
The goal of ZenStudio is to help people create a well rounded fitness routine.
“Strength training to build muscle with heavier weights, keeping a healthy heart with cardio and maintaining good flexibility and a strong core are all crucial as we age,” Hyneman said. “So, at ZenStudio you can truly get everything you need with our diverse offerings all under one roof.”
ZenStudio offers more than just workout classes though, clients are able to experience health-based amenities and never-before-seen opportunities such as fully stocked bathroom and showers and red light therapy mats that ZenStudio is the first in Arkansas to provide.
“Our wellness offerings are red light therapy, sauna and cold plunge. We also have childcare facilities so you can bring your kiddos along,” Hyneman said. “We provide a space where busy moms can get in some ‘me’ time while their kiddos are able to have fun too.”
Some of ZenStudios most popular classes are cycle and heated classes that include fusion flow and hot hit sculpt where clients receive full body workout opportunities.
“We just launched red light mat pilates and yoga classes that we think will likely become a new fan favorite,” Hyneman said.
Something that ZenStudio promotes is being inclusive and welcoming to all.
“We celebrate bodies of all sizes, the focus on fitness should be on health, longevity and feeling good both mentally and physically,” Hyneman said. “We are women owned and strive to create a diverse team in both our desk staff and instructors. Our clients come from all walks of life and we all find common ground in our love for community and moving our bodies together.”
“We look forward to continuing to serve our ZenStudio community and providing everyone with a safe space to work on their health,” Hyneman said.
ZenStudio in Conway is located at 923 Parkway St, Conway, AR 72034 and opens at 5 a.m. Monday through Friday and opens at 9 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
